This notice is a general platform consent statement for dealership financing applications submitted through Driveline. It is provided for transparency and should be reviewed by legal counsel for your jurisdiction before being treated as final legal advice.
By submitting a financing application on a dealership site powered by Driveline, you authorize the dealership and Driveline (as a technology service provider) to collect and use the information you provide for the purpose of evaluating financing options, contacting you about your application, and coordinating with lenders or finance partners selected by the dealership.
You understand that the dealership or its finance partners may need to review your creditworthiness. Depending on the dealership and lender process, this may include a soft or hard credit inquiry. Where a hard inquiry may affect your credit score, the dealership or lender should disclose that separately before proceeding.
You confirm that the information you submit is true, complete, and accurate to the best of your knowledge. Providing false or misleading information may result in your application being declined or withdrawn.
Application details may be shared with the dealership that received your submission, authorized dealership managers, Driveline support staff, agents and service providers (including DealerTrack Canada, Inc. where applicable), credit bureaus, and lenders or finance partners engaged by the dealership to assess credit availability and process financing. The information may be retained to facilitate a later credit application. We do not sell your application information.
You may separately choose to receive commercial electronic messages from the dealership, Driveline, or applicable service providers about vehicles, financing products, and related offers. This consent is optional, is not required to submit a financing application, and may be withdrawn using the unsubscribe method in a message or by contacting the sender.
Personal information submitted through financing applications is also handled under our Privacy Policy. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@trydriveline.com.
You may contact the dealership or info@trydriveline.com if you wish to withdraw a pending application or ask how your information is being used. Withdrawal may not be possible after a lender has already acted on your application.
